RESEARCH FUNDING INSTITUTIONS

Finding fund for personal interest research is not very easy job or also not so complicated as we used to be think. Try to develop some innovative concept, make balanced appraisal and strike with strong proposal, definitely we will get funds. One thing is clear, out of developed ten proposals, the chance of getting fund is so less that, only one proposal will be funded. With that single funded research programme, we can learn more ideas and concepts to make further funding to fulfill our research desire. More communication and understanding among like minded people means more collaboration; which ultimately results to get more funds from strong agencies.

In Nepal, finding money for scientific research is very very hard cake. Still, we don't have such the strong provision to allocate high amount of money for research. While playing with Internet, I was strike with some funding agencies from abroad, hope this list will be useful to all of us!.
